High-achieving students from different regions of the country learned about the opportunities of an international university education.
On October 17, 2026, Arkansas State University Querétaro celebrated its Academic Excellence Open Day at Elisia Education Hub, an event that brought together outstanding students from different parts of Mexico, accompanied by their families, to discover how to take their effort and academic talent towards new opportunities.
With an excellent profile, characterized by academic averages of 9.5 or higher and an advanced level of English, the attendees had the opportunity to get to know an American university in Mexico, explore its academic programs and discover the advantages of being part of an international University community.
One of the most significant moments of the meeting was the recognition of the performance of the young participants, many of whom received offers of academic scholarships that will allow them to consider new possibilities to continue their professional paths.
Academic effort opens the doors to new opportunities
Behind every high-achieving student are years of dedication, discipline, and commitment to their education. The Academic Excellence Open Day was an opportunity to recognize that effort and demonstrate how their achievements can become possibilities for their university future.
During the event, students and families were able to approach the academic and admissions team, learn about the academic programs, solve their questions about the admissions process, and explore opportunities for academic and financial support.
In addition, they toured the campus and visited the facilities and student residences, discovering how the Living-Learning Community works by integrating academic training, coexistence, and personal development within the same university experience.
For many of the attendees, this visit represented an important step toward a new stage. Several of the students who participated and received scholarship offers will join our university community next semester, contributing their talent, commitment, and perspectives to a constantly growing academic community.
An international education that meets their aspirations
Choosing a university also means finding an environment that allows you to continue developing the skills, interests, and aspirations that each student has built throughout their career.
At Arkansas State University Querétaro, students can access an American educational model without leaving Mexico, with academic programs taught entirely in English and a university degree valid in both the United States and Mexico.
Furthermore, being part of a multicultural community allows them to connect with people from different places, broaden their worldview, and strengthen the skills needed to thrive in international professional environments.
The university experience is complemented by qualified professors, spaces for academic and personal development, international transfer opportunities, and a campus life that fosters independence, collaboration, and the creation of new connections.
These advantages allow students with a strong academic record to find new ways to take their abilities further and prepare for the challenges of their professional future.
New talents, new stories to begin
The Academic Excellence Open Day offered more than just a day of tours and university orientation: it represented the beginning of new possibilities for young people who have shown that their effort can open up great opportunities for them.
The upcoming addition of many of these students will strengthen the Arkansas State University Querétaro community, adding new perspectives, academic talent, and young people committed to achieving their goals.
At A-State Querétaro, we celebrate your achievements and look forward to welcoming you to a university experience where you can continue developing your potential, explore new interests, and build your own path.
