A-State Querétaro Triumphs at International Cheerleading Competition Representing Mexico and Arkansas State

A-State Querétaro earns a gold medal representing Arkansas State University Querétaro and a silver medal as Team Mexico at the ICU Latin American Cheerleading Championship.

Arkansas State University Querétaro Cheerleading took the spotlight on the international stage during the ICU Latin American Cheerleading Championship, held in Medellín, Colombia, from May 31 to June 2. The team showcased its athletic excellence by securing a gold medal representing Arkansas State University Querétaro and a silver medal as part of Mexico’s National Team, both in the Open double pom category.

The delegation was led by Coach Viridiana Silva Barajas, who was officially appointed by the Mexican Federation of Cheerleaders and Spirit Groups as the National Team Coach. Her leadership and expertise played a crucial role in achieving these historic victories for the team and the university.

Representing both Arkansas State University Querétaro and Mexico with pride were:
