Tadeo de la Garza joins the Red Wolves as Head Coach of football, bringing decades of experience, leadership, and a bold vision for the program.
Arkansas State University Querétaro proudly welcomes Coach Tadeo de la Garza as the new Head Coach of the Red Wolves Football program, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter built on experience, leadership, and a commitment to competitive excellence.
Coach de la Garza brings more than four decades of experience in American football, including 13 years as a player and 33 years as a coach. During his playing career, he represented prestigious programs such as Tigres CCH, Ponys EMP, Búfalos Economía, and Cóndores UNAM, where he became a National Champion during the 1990–1991 season.
His coaching career spans youth, intermediate, collegiate, and veteran levels, developing athletes both on and off the field. Throughout his professional journey, he has earned a Diploma in Sports Marketing and Administration, a Diploma in Sports Management, six NFL Europe coaching certifications, and was recognized with the 2020 Comprehensive Coach Award by Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Querétaro for his outstanding contribution to student-athlete development.
