Arkansas State University campus Querétaro held its 2023 Spring Commencement Ceremony this May.
Chancellor Todd Shields conferred nearly 90 degrees to students form the university’s four colleges in the ceremony held at Campus Querétaro.
On behalf of the graduating class, Tania Monserrat Cano Flores, addressed the audience on behalf of the graduating class. “Success is not a one-time achievement, but a continuous pursuit. It requires hard work, dedication, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. So, keep pushing yourself, keep reaching for the stars, and always remember that the greatest achievements often go beyond your fears.” Said Ms. Cano Flores.
Ms. Cano Flores graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in International Business. She has been very active during her tenure at A-State and participated in the exchange program with ASUJ. “I want to thank this university, which has served as a beacon of academic excellence and innovation, we express our deepest appreciation.” she said.
We have 86 graduating seniors, which include 6 seniors graduating with a double major, 52 are graduating with 1 minor, and 2 with a double minor. It also includes 30 distinguished undergraduate students with various academic Latin honors, as identified by the white, red, and gold honors cords. We have 13 cum laude, 13 Magna Cum Laude, and 4 Summa Cum Laude.
Once again, academic excellence distinguishes Arkansas State University campus Querétaro. New Red Wolves enter the world ready to lead the pack! #WolvesUp
